Increase Tourism and Short Term Rentals (Airbnb)

Summer 2022 and increase of tourism in our country, according to predictions.
Once again, Greece is one of the top destinations for many tourists to spend their summer. Athens and Mykonos see huge increase in their bookings, almost 100% compared to the summer of 2021. Specifically, the Greek Prime Minister stressed that “we expect a very good tourist season this year from the beginning”. For his part, the head of TUI estimated that the arrivals from TUI in 2022 are estimated at around 3 million Customers compared to 1.5 million Customers in 2021. Many hotels and Airbnb accommodation in all of Greece have completeness at levels up to 70% from the middle of winter.
